As a VTMHCA member, please consider taking your membership to the next level by serving on the board of directors or a committee. We are a member run organization and we can't do what we do without the generous service of our members who step up and make things happen. Board positions are two-year terms.
There are many great reasons to help lead our association, here are a few:
- Members who join the board of directors are eligible for free VTMHCA membership while serving their elected or appointed terms.
- Fun! While doing the work of the organization, we have a lot of fun! Being part of leadership provides opportunity to break away from the isolation of private practice and connect more regularly with colleagues.
- Being active in leadership is a great way to build out the resume.
- Gratitude and affirmation - these positions are unpaid however we are generous with gratitude.
- Board members and committee chairpersons get to attend our annual retreat event!
